Game Highlights
  • Bowdoin went ahead 1-0 just 3:38 into the game as Elena DiMagno slipped a pass from below the goal to Anyi Sun for a deflection.
  • The Polar Bears doubled their lead midway through the frame. Kathryn Kester fired a shot from the left point and the goalie made a save. The rebound kicked to DiMagno in front who tried to work the puck through but found Abigail Ainley instead. Ainley finished the play at the right post.
  • The third period provided multiple scoring opportunities for the Polar Bears who put up three more goals. Meghan Montanaro worked the puck off the boards to Ava Imposimato who backhanded a pass to Bella Mele. Mele skated between the dots and wristed a shot into net.
  • Montanaro won the puck off a turnover in the Nor'Easter defensive end and found Brett Stoddard between the circles. Stoddard fired off a quick shot to chase Delanie Corcoran from the net.
  • Bowdoin's final goal came as Ainley won the faceoff on the right side and kicked the puck back to Gia Massari. Massari left the puck for Jane McCarter to pick up. McCarter skated to the dot and unloaded a top-shelf wrister.
