BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College men's basketball team dropped a 68-43 decision to Williams College on Saturday afternoon in Morrell Gymnasium. The Polar Bears fall to 6-11 (0-4 NESCAC) while the Ephs improve to 13-3 (4-0 NESCAC).
 
Game Highlights

• A stellar defensive effort by the Ephs saw them hold Bowdoin to 26% shooting in the opening half, as they built a 32-18 lead at the break.
• Bowdoin cut the lead to 11 points following an Alex Halpern three-pointer with 18 minutes to go, 34-23.
• But Williams replied with an 8-0 run, capped by a three-pointer from Nate Karren, to make it 42-23 just two minutes later.
• Bowdoin could get no closer than 13 points for the remainder of the contest.

By The Numbers

• Williams finished at 45% shooting for the game and held Bowdoin to 28%, including just 3-21 from three-point range.
• Michael Simonds scored 16 points while Kevin Reeves had eight points and nine rebounds.
• Alex Halpern also had eight points off the bench for Bowdoin.
