Women's Soccer Drops 2-0 Decision at Williams

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Bowdoin women's soccer team suffered a 2-0 loss at Williams on Sunday afternoon.
 
The Ephs remain unbeaten with a 6-0-1 (3-0-1 NESCAC) record. The Polar Bears return home with a 4-2-2 (2-1-1 NESCAC) record.
 
Game Highlights
  • Bowdoin keeper Charlotte Iannone made three saves through the first 20 minutes of action.
  • The Ephs earned a penalty kick in the 34th minute. Jaquelin Nordhoff lined up the take the kick and put the ball in the net.
  • Bowdoin ramped up the offensive pressure in response and took four shots in the final seven minutes, with a pair on net.
  • Williams came out of halftime and doubled its lead in the 50th minute. Jaquelin Nordhoff set up the tally with a ball to Tori Huang.
