Volleyball Enjoys Saturday Sweep of Clark, Smith

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. – The Bowdoin College volleyball team got back into the win column with a pair of non-conference wins on Saturday afternoon at Smith College. The Polar Bears defeated Clark 3-0 and Smith 3-1 to improve to 6-3 this season.

  • The Polar Bears completed the doubleheader win with a 25-20, 23-25, 25-18, 25-20.
  • LaMendola recorded 27 kills, two shy of the school's single-match record.
  • Mary John had eight kills and Mina Mittler had seven for the Polar Bears.
  • Ella Haugen racked up 46 assists and 17 digs. Maya White had 18 digs and Kiley Keating had 11 in the win. Haugen also totaled four aces.
