Men's Soccer Earns 2-2 Draw Against Panthers

MIDDLEBURY, Vt. – The Bowdoin men's soccer team used a pair of second half goals to negate early Middlebury strikes and earn a 2-2 draw on Saturday afternoon.
 
The Polar Bears and Panthers sport matching 4-0-2 (1-0-2 NESCAC) records.
 
Game Highlights
  • The Panthers quickly jumped to a 1-0 lead before two minutes had ticked off the clock. Gavin Randolph notched his third goal of the season off a feed from Kyle Nilsson.
  • Middlebury doubled its lead in the 14th minute with a successful penalty kick conversion by Jordan Saint-Louis.
  • Bowdoin battled back and broke through in the 52nd minute. Felipe Reuda Duran scored his team-leading sixth goal of the season to cut the deficit in half.
  • Ronaldo Cabral came up with the late-game heroics to find an equalizer with 13 minutes remaining.
  • Middlebury took a pair of shots in the final ten minutes with Colin Dugan missing top right and Will Sawin challenging Alex Ainsworth to make a save.
