Women's Rugby Closes Spring Schedule With Polar Bear Sevens

BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College women's rugby team wrapped its spring slate with the Polar Bear Sevens Tournament at home on Saturday at Pickard Field.

Weekend Highlights

The Polar Bears finished as runner-up to Northeastern University, dropping the final by a score of 26-5. Bowdoin's tries came from Katie Stomma (2) and Ella Garnett.
Bowdoin went 2-1 in pool play, defeating UNE 39-7 and American International 40-5.
Rebecca Vakarau, Evie Hamer, Maggie Norton, Lauryn Eisenhart (x2) Katie Stomma (x2) accounted for the scores against the Nor'easters.
Maggie Norton, Eisenhart, Ella Slaby, Ella Garnett, Justine Endo-Ferguson and Katie Stomma scored tries against AIC with conversion kicks from Ella Slaby x 4, Lauryn Eisenhart.
