BRUNSWICK, Maine – Bowdoin senior Colleen McAloon (Mountainside, N.J.) has been named the New England Small College Athletic Conference Women's Lacrosse Co-Player of the Week.
 
McAloon led Bowdoin in scoring in both wins last week as the Polar Bears secured a NESCAC postseason berth. In Saturday's win against Conn. College, the senior scored three goals, an assist, and caused three turnovers in a victory that clinched a NESCAC Tournament bid for Bowdoin. That followed a five-goal, two-assist, performance in a Wednesday win over Endicott. For the week, McAloon totaled eight goals and three assists.
 
The Polar Bears will wrap up their regular season on Wednesday night at Tufts University (7:00 p.m.) before heading to Middlebury for the NESCAC Quarterfinals on Saturday. Game time will be announced later this week.
