NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Bowdoin College women's lacrosse team secured a NESCAC postseason berth with a 15-10 victory at Connecticut College on Saturday afternoon. The Polar Bears (6-8, 3-6 NESCAC) will be the eighth seed in the NESCAC Tournament, regardless of what happens in Wednesday's regular season finale at Tufts.
 
Game Highlights

• A dominant first half gave the Polar Bears the cushion they needed to run away with the win on Saturday.
• Bowdoin scored ten goals in the opening 30 minutes, including a 6-1 run to start the contest, as Sophia Sudano notched three goals to give the visitors at 10-3 edge at the break.
• A 4-1 run by the Camels cut the lead to five goals, 11-6, in the third quarter, but that's as close as they would get.
• Coleen McAloon and Charlotte Howie closed out the third quarter with goals, pushing the lead back to seven goals as Bowdoin cruised to the win.

• Sophia Sudano finished with four goals to lead Bowdoin in scoring while Fiona Bundy tallied three goals and two assists to go with five draw controls.
