Women's Lacrosse Nets Blowout Win Over Endicott in Home Finale

BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College women's lacrosse team earned an authoritative victory in its regular season home finale, 23-13, over Endicott on Wednesday night at Ryan Field. The Polar Bears improve to 5-8 on the season while the Gulls fall to 8-7.
 
Game Highlights
  • The Polar Bears took command early, scoring the first seven goals of the match and sprinting to an early lead. Emelia Krakora and Colleen McAloon each had two goals in the game-opening run.
  • After falling behind 9-1, Endicott chipped away at the Bowdoin lead, closing to within 9-6 following a 5-0 run to close the first period and open the second.
  • Bowdoin steadied itself and was able to maintain a four-goal edge at intermission, 12-8, thanks to a late goal by Sophia Sudano.
  • The Polar Bears put the contest away in the third quarter, scoring four times in the final 3:26 of the frame to push the contest into running time.
  • Bowdoin maintained at least a ten-goal edge for the final 12:38 to secure the victory.
