MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – The Bowdoin College men's tennis team rallied from a deficit following doubles play to defeat Wesleyan 6-3 on Saturday afternoon. The 12^th-ranked Polar Bears improve to 8-1 on the season following the win over the 18^th-ranked Cardinals.
 
Match Highlights

• Evan Fortier and Mark Kneiss came through for the Polar Bears in doubles action with an 8-4 win to make the Wesleyan lead 2-1 entering singles play.
• From there, Bowdoin won five of six singles matches – all in straight sets – to claim the win.
• Reid Staples (6-3, 6-4), Pieter Breuker (6-3, 6-1), Mark Kneiss (7-6, 6-1), Ethan Bradley (7-5, 7-5) and Evan Fortier (6-0, 6-1) earned resounding wins for Bowdoin.
