GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Bowdoin men's and women's swim teams combined to send 13 swimmers to nationals and came away with several All-American honors.
 
The women ended the championship with 58 points (16^th overall) and fourth out of the seven NESCAC schools that sent swimmers. The men ended the meet in 29^th with 16 points and fifth out of NESCAC schools in attendance.
 
Meet Highlights

• Ella Riccio became a First Team All-American with a sixth-place finish in the 50 yard free. Riccio qualified for the finals with a prelim-topping 23.26 and swam 23.33 in the finals.
• Bowdoin's men's and women's 200 medley relays teams both qualified for the consolation finals to earn Second Team All-American status. Jack Tran, Alex Grand'Pierre, Ethan O'Connor, and Steve Ward combined for a 1:29.72 in their final to earn 15^th.
• The women narrowly missed out on qualifying for the finals and finished first in the consolation finals to earn ninth overall. Ella Martin, Anna Roberts, Tatum Zupnik, and Riccio combined for a time of 1:42.09.
• A women's relay returned to the consolation finals in the 200 free. Martin, Zupnik, Cassie Maroney, and Riccio combined for a 1:34.30 and 13^th overall.
• The men also appeared in the 200 free relay consolation finals and finished 11^th. Tran, Grand'Pierre, Penn Lee, and Steve Ward swam a time of 1:21.47.
• The women's 400 medley relay broke their own school record to finish 12^th nationally with a time of 3:47.12. Martin, Roberts, Zupnik, and Riccio earned Second Team All-American for the performance.
• Roberts earned an individual consolation final appearance in the 100 breaststroke. The senior swam a 1:03.30 to finish third in the heat and 11^th nationally.
• Riccio made a solo appearance in the consolation finals for the 100 free, finishing 14^th with a time of 51.42.
