BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College men's squash team claimed an exciting 5-4 win over Brown in its season-opener on Saturday afternoon at the Lubin Family Squash Center. The Polar Bears (1-1), who lost to fourth-ranked Trinity on Sunday 9-0, enter the season as the 24
th-ranked team by the College Squash Association.
Weekend Highlights
- Against Brown, the Polar Bears prevailed in a number of tight matches across the ladder, including 3-1 wins from Ben Cossrow and number nine, Benjamin Korengold at number seven and Jackson Rho at number three.
- A pair of lengthy 3-2 wins put the Polar Bears over the top, including a win from Joseph French at number eight (11-4, 8-11, 7-11, 11-8, 13-11) and Nick Wilkinson at number one (9-11, 12-10, 9-11, 11-4, 11-6).
- Against Trinity, Bowdoin's tightest result came from French, who lost a 3-1 decision.
