BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College women's soccer team will play Williams at Amherst College in the semifinals of the NESCAC Tournament on Saturday, Nov. 4, at 1:30 p.m.

ABOUT THE POLAR BEARS
Bowdoin is in the semifinals for the first time since 2015 after
Mary Rainey's goal in the 12th minute off a free kick proved to be the only offense the Polar Bears needed in a
1-0 victory over No. 5 Conn. College. The 2015 season also marked Bowdoin's most recent appearance in the championship match of the NESCAC Tournament. Bowdoin is 9-3-4 overall and 3-0-2 in its last five games. Senior
Greta Farkas leads the Polar Bears in scoring with nine points (4 goals, 1 assist) whlie sophomore
Stephanie Christianson has added eight points (3 goals, 2 assists). Bowdoin's balanced attack has seen 11 different players score goals this season. Sophomore
Charlotte Iannone owns the most shutouts (8) among NESCAC goalkeepers and the best goals against average in the conference at 0.627 while ranking second in save percentage (.872).
CHAMPIONSHIP WEEKEND
