BRUNSWICK, Maine - The University of Maine-Farmington men's basketball team held off Bowdoin in a 65-56 win on Saturday at Morrell Gymnasium. The Beavers improve to 4-1 while the Polar Bears fall to 1-3.

• Bowdoin couldn't overcome 20 turnovers and 36% shooting from the field in the loss. The Polar Bears went 5-25 from three-point range in the setback.
• Ethan Forrester scored 18 points with five rebounds for UMF
• Michael Simonds had 20 points and seven rebounds for Bowdoin while Kevin Reeves had ten points and six boards.
• Bowdoin owned a 44-33 edge on the glass but had zero second chance points.
