Polar Bears Tally 3-1 Field Hockey Win at Hamilton

CLINTON, N.Y. – The Bowdoin field hockey team secured a key 3-1 conference win over Hamilton on Saturday afternoon.
 
The Polar Bears (9-3, 4-3 NESCAC) scored a pair of second quarter goals and never surrendered the lead to the Continentals (7-5, 30-5 NESCAC).
 
Game Highlights
  • Both of Bowdoin's second quarter goals came off successful penalty corners. Caroline Higgins inserted the ball to Georgie Coetzer for a blast from the top of the circle.
  • Hamilton cut the deficit to one with a goal just 26 seconds into the fourth quarter.
  • Mackay Bommer pushed the lead back to two goals in the final four minutes of regulation.
