BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College volleyball team split a pair of matches in a tri-meet with Brandeis University and Maine Maritime Academy on Saturday in Morrell Gymnasium. With a 3-1 loss to Brandeis and 3-0 sweep of Maine Maritime, the Polar Bears stand at 5-4 overall this season.
 
Brandeis Match Highlights

• The Polar Bears took the opening set, but dropped the Judges 20-25, 25-17, 25-20, 25-19.
• Bowdoin was led by 12 kills apiece from Sarah Evans and Lauren Lange while Maya White had 23 digs in the loss.
• Ella Haugen dished out 39 assists and Jaida Hodge-Adams had 17 digs and four blocks. Maya John posted six blocks in the match.

Maine Maritime Highlights

• Bowdoin rebounded with an impressive 25-16, 25-13, 25-20 win over the Mariners in the nightcap.
• The Polar Bears took advantage of six service errors and 25 attack errors by MMA in the match.
• Bowdoin got six kills each from Evans and Jenna Robbins while White (15) and Hodge-Adams (10) both reached double digits in digs.
• Ella Haugen earned 20 assists and Jenna Robbins had eight aces to help propel Bowdoin to the win.
