BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College men's soccer team improved to 5-0-0 for the first time since 1976 with a 5-0 win over Maine Maritime Academy on Monday afternoon.

Game Highlights
  • The Polar Bears got things going early, finding the back of the net less than nine minutes into the contest as Drew Phillips took a crossing pass from Tyler Huck and slipped a shot inside the right post at 8:23.
  • Charlie Ward deposited Bowdoin's second goal in the 24th minute, taking a pass from Phillips and toeing it over the goaltenders head to double the Polar Bear lead.
  • Everett Horch put home a rebound in the 35th minute to give Bowdoin a 3-0 lead at the break.
  • Ronaldo Cabral and Mateo Pacelli put home goals in the second half to wrap up the scoring for Bowdoin, who has outscored their opponents 18-2 this fall.
