BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin softball team suffered an 8-0 setback to conclude the home calendar on Friday afternoon.
 
The Polar Bears are 14-17 to conclude the regular season. Saint Joseph's is 15-16 on the year.
 
Game Highlights

• The Monks plated a pair of runs in the first inning off an RBI double from Bailey Rassol.
• Saint Joseph's scored two more runs in the third inning.
• Lydia Goodnough tagged a two-run double in the fifth and Alexis Downs plated her with a single.
• The Monks scored the final run in the sixth to make it 8-0 as Gooodnough singled up the middle for an RBI.
• Bowdoin couldn't erase the eight run deficit.

 
By the Numbers

• Katryna Dukehart went 2-for-3. Kyla Gary had a single in her return to the lineup.
• Lilly Armstrong, Karyle Pallotta, Kasey Cunningham, and Zoe Stilphen all also had hits.
• Shea Sullivan pitched five innings and fanned two batters.
• Kiera Dent pitched the final inning and allowed two hits.
