BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin women's tennis team swept its NESCAC weekend with 9-0 sweeps of Trinity and Connecticut College.
 
The Polar Bears are 5-4 on the season and 2-1 in conference play.
 
Trinity Match Highlights

• Bailey Prete and Julia DeLuca dropped just one game at number three doubles, finishing off Trinity 8-1.
• Jamilah Karah and Fleming Yu were also nearly perfect at number one with an 8-2 finish.
• Landau Hannah Buckhout and Elizabeth Yu completed the doubles sweep at number two (8-3).
• Prete was perfect in singles at number six, winning 6-0, 6-0.
• DeLuca won number five with a 6-1, 6-2 score and Landau went 6-1, 6-1 at four.
• Buckhout opened with a 6-0 set at number three and finished off the match with a 6-2 victory in the second.
• Yu secured the number two spot with a 6-3, 6-1 victory and Karah went 6-1, 6-4 at the top spot.

 
Connecticut College Highlights

• Prete and DeLuca were again quick finishers at number three doubles with a perfect 8-0 win.
• Buckhout and Yu were right behind with an 8-2 win in the two spot.
• Landau and Karah battled for an 8-7 win at number one.
• Prete, DeLuca, and Landau were all perfect 6-0, 6-0 finishes in singles.
• Bukchout and Yuboth dropped just one game in their matches.
• Karah completed the perfect weekend sweep with a battle at number one, coming back to win 6-7, 6-1, 11-9.
