BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College women's lacrosse team rolled to its fourth straight win in a 21-8 victory over Plymouth State on Wednesday afternoon at Ryan Field. The 17^th-ranked Polar Bears improve to 5-2 while the Panthers fall to 5-2 this season.
 
Game Highlights

• The Polar Bears put the game away early, scoring the first four goals in the game and taking a 10-1 lead after one period thanks to five goals from NESCAC Player of the Week Sophia Sudano.
• Bowdoin put the game into running time in the second quarter, leading 14-4 at the break.
• The Polar Bears outscored Plymouth 7-4 over the final 30 minutes, as 12 different players broke into the scoring column en route to the victory.

By The Numbers

• Sophia Sudano continued her hot play, scoring six goals to lead all players.
• Colleen McAloon totaled three goals and two assists with two groundballs while Emelia Krakora and Auggie Burke had two goals apiece. Burke also collected five draw controls.
• Fiona Bundy, Olivia Coveney and Kaitlin Weiss all had a goal and two assists.
• Bridget Funk led Bowdoin with two caused turnovers as Annabelle Gersch and Sophia Schaefer had four draws each in the win.
• Plymouth was led by three goals from Emily Santom.
• Izzy Cisneros (four saves, three GA), Sophia Brett (three saves, three GA) and Sophia Rutman (three saves, two GA) all shared time in net for Bowdoin.
