Women's Lacrosse Stays Hot, Runs Away From Plymouth in Wednesday Win

BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College women's lacrosse team rolled to its fourth straight win in a 21-8 victory over Plymouth State on Wednesday afternoon at Ryan Field. The 17th-ranked Polar Bears improve to 5-2 while the Panthers fall to 5-2 this season.
 
Game Highlights
  • The Polar Bears put the game away early, scoring the first four goals in the game and taking a 10-1 lead after one period thanks to five goals from NESCAC Player of the Week Sophia Sudano.
  • Bowdoin put the game into running time in the second quarter, leading 14-4 at the break.
  • The Polar Bears outscored Plymouth 7-4 over the final 30 minutes, as 12 different players broke into the scoring column en route to the victory.
