Women's Lacrosse Rolls UNE To Net First Win of Campaign

BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College women's lacrosse team ran away from the University of New England in an authoritative 20-2 win on Thursday evening in its first home game at Ryan Field since March 7, 2020.
 
The Polar Bears move to 1-1 while the Nor'easters drop to 0-5 on the season.
 
Game Highlights
  • Bowdoin scored seven unanswered goals in the game's opening quarter as Fiona Bundy led six different scorers in the first 15 minutes.
  • The Polar Bears scored the first nine goals of the game and extended their lead to 14-1 at the break with a Bundy's third goal of the half just before intermission.
  • Bowdoin outscored UNE 6-1 over the final thirty minutes to wrap up the win.
