HARTFORD, Conn. – The Bowdoin College men's squash team capped a memorable weekend of play at the 2022 NESCAC Championship with an 8-1 defeat to Trinity in the finals of the tournament on Sunday.
The result marks the best-ever finish for the Polar Bears at the NESCAC Championship which began in 2007. Trinity, which has never lost a match in conference tournament play, won their 15
th championship overall.
Match Highlights
- John Milligan's match at number six was defaulted and accounted for the Bowdoin point in the match.
- Neil Bam battled well at the number nine position, fighting all the way through in a 3-2 loss (9-11, 11-9, 12-10, 12-14, 15-13).
- Nick Wilkinson and Adham Sobhy also earned single game wins in eventual 3-1 losses for the Polar Bears.
