Men's Hockey Tripped Up By Trinity

HARTFORD, Conn. – The Bowdoin men's hockey team could not complete a late comeback and fell 5-3 to Trinity on Friday night.
 
The Polar Bears drop to 5-9-4 (5-7-3 NESCAC). The Bantams climb to 11-7-1 (9-5-1 NESCAC).
 
Game Highlights
  • The Bantams jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first period, including a pair of power play goals.
  • Late in the second period, Bowdoin got on the board with a power play goal by Chris Brown with helpers from Bobby Pearl and Joe Alexander.
  • Trinity answered a minute later to go ahead 4-1.
  • Bowdoin scored back-to-back goals at 8:04 and 10:08 in the third to make it 4-3. Will Forrest and Kyle Jarosz tallied the points.
  • Another Trinity goal in the second half of the third put the game out of reach for Bowdoin.
