Women's Soccer Suffers Setback at Amherst

AMHERST, Mass. – Amherst scored in the final eight minutes of Sunday's women's soccer game against Bowdoin to hand the Polar Bears a 2-1 loss.
 
The Polar Bears are 7-3-1 (2-3-1) following an 0-1-1 weekend. The Mammoths collect their fifth NESCAC victory and climb to 9-2-0 (5-2-0 NESCAC).

  • Amherst took an early lead, scoring just five minutes into the game.
  • Despite trailing 1-0 after 45 minutes, the Polar Bears held a 6-5 edge in shots and matched the Mammoths with one corner kick apiece.
