Last Minute Goal Lifts Men's Soccer Past Trinity

HARTFORD, Conn. – Julian Juantorena scored with less than three minutes remaining to hand the Bowdoin men's soccer team a 1-0 road win over Trinity on Saturday afternoon.
 
The Polar Bears (8-1-1, 2-1-1 NESCAC) have not lost to the Bantams (0-6-3, 0-5-1 NESCAC) since 2016.
 
Game Highlights
  • Bowdoin controlled play in both halves. The Polar Bears owned a 6-2 shot advantage in the first and 5-2 advantage in the second.
  • The defense locked down Trinity in the second, allowing just one shot.
  • In the 87th minute Carlton Steinberg sent a centering pass to Julian Juantorena who snuck the ball past Bernardo Simoes.
