BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College volleyball team wrapped up its regular season with a 3-0 loss to Tufts on Saturday afternoon in Morrell Gymnasium. The Polar Bears (13-9, 6-4 NESCAC) finish the year in a tie for fourth place in the NESCAC standings with Amherst, and due to tiebreakers, will be the fifth seed in the conference tournament that begins on Friday, November 4, at Wesleyan.
Match Highlights
- Tufts (18-5, 9-1 NESCAC) took their second win over the Polar Bears this year with a 25-17, 25-21, 25-17 decision.
- The Polar Bears couldn't quite get going offensively, as Jaida Hodge-Adams accounted for nine of Bowdoin's 28 kills on the day.
- Hodge-Adams also had three blocks while Mary John and Lauren Lange also had three apiece.
- Ella Haugen had 17 assists while Maya White added 11 digs.
