Tufts Stymies Women's Basketball in Friday Night Loss

MEDFORD, Mass. – The Bowdoin College women's basketball team saw its four-game winning streak come to a close in a 69-47 loss to Tufts on Friday evening. The Polar Bears fall to 14-4 (4-2 NESCAC) while the Jumbos improve to 14-2 (4-1 NESCAC).

  • Tufts opened the game on a 13-4 run and never looked back, leading by double digits throughout the game.
  • The Jumbos owned a 37-22 lead at halftime and outscored Bowdoin 18-9 in the third quarter.
