MEDFORD, Mass. – The Bowdoin College women's basketball team saw its four-game winning streak come to a close in a 69-47 loss to Tufts on Friday evening. The Polar Bears fall to 14-4 (4-2 NESCAC) while the Jumbos improve to 14-2 (4-1 NESCAC).
 
Game Highlights

• Tufts opened the game on a 13-4 run and never looked back, leading by double digits throughout the game.
• The Jumbos owned a 37-22 lead at halftime and outscored Bowdoin 18-9 in the third quarter.
• Bowdoin outscored Tufts 16-14 in the fourth quarter to close the final gap to 22.

• Tufts connected on 42% of their shots in the game and held Bowdoin to just 30% from the field.
• Bowdoin went 3-16 from three-point range and Tufts owned a 53-35 edge in rebounding for the contest, scoring 13 second-chance points.
• Sela Kay had 12 points and eight rebounds for Bowdoin while Sydney Jones added 13 points.
• Maggie Russell had 18 points and 14 rebounds for Tufts in the win.
