WATERVILLE, Maine – The Bowdoin College women's basketball team completed its season sweep of Colby in a 67-55 win Saturday afternoon. The Polar Bears improve to 14-3 (4-1 NESCAC) while the Mules drop to 9-5 (1-4 NESCAC).
 
Game Highlights

• Bowdoin came out firing thanks to Megan Tan, who scored ten first-quarter points to help the Polar Bears build a 17-12 advantage.
• The Polar Bears never trailed after the first quarter, increasing their lead to 33-23 at halftime and as many as 15 points in the third quarter.
• A high-scoring fourth quarter saw the Mules draw within six points, 46-40, with 5:30 to play.
• Bowdoin answered with a 5-0 run, keyed by a Callie Godfrey layup to cushion their lead back to double digits en route to the win.

By The Numbers

• Megan Tan finished with 16 points to lead the Polar Bears while Annie Boasberg recorded 13 points, seven rebounds and two assists.
• Callie Godfrey had ten points and eight rebounds for Bowdoin.
• The Polar Bears shot 44% for the game and held the Mules to just 32% in the contest while holding a 33-24 edge on the glass.
