BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College men's squash team stayed hot this weekend, defeating Hobart and Dickinson in consecutive days at the Lubin Center. With the pair of wins, the Polar Bears improve to 3-0 in the 2022 calendar year and stand at 3-3 overall, ranking 22
nd in the College Squash Association national poll.
Hobart Match Highlights
- The Polar Bears earned a resounding 9-0 win over 27th-ranked Hobart on Friday.
- Adham Sobhy sparked the Polar Bears in a hard fought five-game win to give the Polar Bears an early 3-0 lead.
- The rest of the team followed suit, as the Polar Bears completed the sweep that included 3-0 wins from Jack Winston at number one, John Milligan at number six, Henry Somerby at number eight and Neil Bam at number nine.
Dickinson Match Highlights
- Bowdoin followed it up with an impressive 7-2 win over 20th-ranked Dickinson on Saturday to complete the perfect weekend.
- Another great start for the Polar Bears keyed the win with Nick Wilkinson (3-0), Henry Somerby (3-0) coming out of the blocks for Bowdoin.
- The Polar Bears put the match away with wins from Adam Sobhy (3-1), John Milligan (3-2), Carson Claar (3-0), Neil Bam (3-2) and Abhiroop Reddy (3-1) to round out the match.
