BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College volleyball team split a pair of matches on Saturday, falling in a NESCAC match to Tufts before rebounding in an evening win over Maine Maritime Academy.
 
With the results, the Polar Bears stand at 5-3 overall this season.
 
Tufts Match Highlights

• The Polar Bears fell into an early hole and, despite rebounding in the third set, couldn't complete the comeback in a 3-1 (25-21, 25-22, 20-25, 25-16) defeat.
• Bowdoin was victimized by a number of unforced errors as the Polar Bears tallied 25 attack errors and 15 service errors in the loss.
• Cori Gray was outstanding, putting home 20 kills against just four errors with two aces and two blocks.
• Ella Haugen had 33 assists and 12 digs against the Jumbos.

MMA Match Highlights

• Bowdoin cruised in the evening session against the Mariners, picking up a 3-0 sweep (25-9, 25-11, 25-21).
• The Polar Bears were able to use their entire roster, as 14 different players recorded a kill in the victory.
• Adrienne Miller and Allyson Hawkins led the way with seven kills each while Joy Liu dished out 26 assists. Maya White had 29 digs in the match.
