LEWISTON, Maine – The Bowdoin College men's squash team couldn't overcome Bates at the top of the lineup in an eventual 6-3 loss to the Bobcats on Thursday evening. The 20^th-ranked Polar Bears fall to 0-2 on the season while 25^th-ranked Bates moves to 1-3.
 
Match Highlights

• Bates took the win thanks to wins at the top six positions in the lineup.
• The Polar Bears collected a trio of wins at seven through nine to account for their points, led by Nick Wilkinson's 3-2 (9-11, 11-7, 11-2, 8-11, 11-4) win at number seven.
• Carson Claar took a 3-0 win (11-5, 11-7, 11-3) at eight, followed by a 3-1 triumph by Abhiroop Reddy (6-11, 11-5, 11-5, 11-7) at number nine.
