BIDDEFORD, Maine – The Bowdoin College volleyball team continued to roll, picking up two more wins on Saturday, defeating UNE 3-0 and Rhode Island College 3-0 to extend their winning streak to eight matches.
With the wins, the Polar Bears stand at 12-3 so far this season.
University of New England Match Highlights
- Bowdoin defeated UNE by a score of 3-0 (26-24, 25-21, 25-18).
- Sophia Pahl led Bowdoin with 14 kills, nine digs and three service aces while Jaida Hodge-Adams totaled 10 kills and three blocks.
- Ella Haugen had 29 assists and nine digs for the Polar Bears, who got seven kills from Adrienne Miller as well.
Rhode Island College Match Highlights
- Bowdoin put away RIC in three sets (25-15, 25-18, 25-15).
- A balanced Polar Bear attack saw the team put away 47 kills against just 13 errors (.351 percentage) with seven service aces in the win
- Pahl (nine kills, eight digs), Miller (nine kills) were the offensive leaders along with Haugen (32 assists).
- Maya White had 11 digs to lead the squad as nine different players had at least three kills in the win.

- Bowdoin will return to action Tuesday evening as they play at Tufts in a non-conference match at 6:00 p.m. before returning home next weekend for a huge NESCAC set against Middlebury (Friday, 7:30 p.m.) and Amherst (Saturday, 2:00 p.m.)
