Women's Soccer Suffers 3-1 Loss to Camels

BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin women's soccer team suffered a 3-1 setback to Connecticut College on Saturday afternoon.
 
The Polar Bears are 7-5-1 (2-5-1 NESCAC), as the Camels climb to 8-1-2 (5-1-1 NESCAC).
 
Game Highlights
  • The visitors struck first, scoring 15:55 into the game. Claire Mulvihill polished off a feed from Morgan Plouffe.
  • Ten minutes into the second half, Connecticut College extended its lead. Jamie Scarpantonio ran through the box and buried a ball from Sarah Moore.
  • Bowdoin scored four minutes later as Lynn Farquhar scored off an assist from Julia Adelmann. The goal was the first given up by the Camels since September 25, snapping a 663:37 minute shutout streak.
  • Connecticut College scored in the 84th minute as Ella Davidyock connected with a through ball from Mya Johnson.
