Game Highlights

  • Midway through the frame, the Polar Bears made it 2-0. Elly Whitmore came off the bench and collected a loose puck in the neutral zone. Whitmore skated into Amherst territory and wristed a shot from between the dots.
  • The Mammoths fired back with three straight goals in the middle frame. Leslie Schwartz put the visitors on the board as Jillian Mazzocca slipped the puck left for Schwartz to skate onto. Schwartz one-timed the pass to beat Dani Marquez before she could adjust to the far side.
