Men's Hockey Drops Weekend Opener at Hamilton

HAMILTON, N.Y. – The Bowdoin men's hockey team fell 4-2 at Hamilton on Friday night.

The Polar Bears (9-9-1, 5-7-1 NESCAC) split the season series with Hamilton (8-7-4, 7-4-2 NESCAC).

Game Highlights

  • Bowdoin went ahead 1-0 midway through the first as Bobby Murray tucked the puck past Sean Storr.
  • The teams went into the first intermission tied as Jordi Jefferson netted an equalizer four minutes later.
  • The Continentals scored a pair of second period goals to take a 3-1 lead over Bowdoin after 40 minutes of play.
  • Bowdoin came out firing in the third and pulled within one just 24 seconds into the frame. Patrick Ault buried a shot from the left point after a series of clean passing from Ethan Kimball and Jimmy Duffy.
