BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College men's hockey team will be the sixth seed for the upcoming NESCAC Tournament and will head to upstate New York to play at third-seeded Hamilton in the quarterfinals on Saturday, February 29.
The Polar Bears (12-11-1, 8-9-1) won a pair of road games to conclude the regular season last weekend and clinch a return to the NESCAC playoffs for the first time since 2017. The two teams are meeting for the seventh time in the NESCAC Tournament. Hamilton (11-9-4, 10-6-2 NESCAC) won the most recent postseason meeting, a 4-2 victory in the 2017 quarterfinals. The two teams split the regular-season series, with Bowdoin winning, 2-1, at home on January 10 and the Continentals recording a 4-2 victory on February 7.
Faceoff is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, or one hour following the conclusion of the NESCAC women's hockey quarterfinal between Williams and Hamilton in Clinton. Fans unable to attend can watch the game live on the Northeast Sports Network.
