The description for the No Hate November Program is:
"The Art of Activism: The Athlete of Color Coalition's pursuit for social justice, inclusivity, and self-healing."
In the last 6 months since the murder of George Floyd, everyone has had a different reaction and has found meaning and purpose in different places. Despite these differences, we all share the responsibility of creating an inclusive community around us. Hear how the athletes of color have worked as activists and have protected their mental health amid the pandemics of COVID and racism! Tune in at 8:30pm via the Bowdoin College Athletics Facebook or join the viewing party on zoom! Also join us following these stories at 9pm on zoom for a discussion on what role you play in creating a better and more inclusive society for all.
