CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Bowdoin College men's basketball team returned to the win column with an 82-68 victory at Pine Manor on Tuesday night.

The Polar Bears are 6-11 this season while the Gators fall to 4-17.

Game Highlights

• Trailing 11-9 in the early going, a pair of David Reynolds three-pointers and another by Stephen Ferraro propelled the Polar Bears into the lead with a 9-0 run.
• That proved to be the final lead change of the game, as Bowdoin carried a 36-27 lead into halftime thanks to 16 first-half points from Reynolds.
• Pine Manor trimmed the lead to six points, 43-37, early in the second half, but a 12-0 Bowdoin run sparked by two more Ferraro three-pointers, proved to be the decisive blow as the Polar Bears maintained a double-digit lead for most of the remainder of the contest.

• Four Bowdoin players reached double-digits, led by 24 from David Reynolds, who also had 11 boards.
• Stephen Ferraro had 20 points while Sam Grad (16) and Xander Werkman (11) also saw double figures for the Polar Bears. 
• Bowdoin finished at 43% shooting and connected on 10 three-pointers in the game, while holding Pine Manor to 37% from the field.
• The Polar Bears went 24-27 (89%) from the free throw line in the victory.
