NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Bowdoin College men's squash team finished 23^rd in the country, competing in the Summers Cup Division of the College Squash National Championship last weekend at Yale.

The Polar Bears dropped matches to Middlebury (9-0) and Amherst (7-2) before rebounding to defeat Tufts 6-3 to take seventh place in the division and end the year with a record of 7-10.

Weekend Highlights

• John Milligan and Drew Clark both took 3-1 wins at positions seven and eight for the Polar Bears in the loss to Amherst.
• Bowdoin took wins at the top three spots against Tufts, getting 3-0 victories from Ian Squiers and Drew Clark.
• The key to the match was a quartet of close wins by Bowdoin, including a 3-1 win from Gannon Leech and 3-2 victories from Satya Butler, Adham Sobhy and Tyler Shonrock.
