BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College men's and women's squash teams returned to action with a split against Wesleyan on Wednesday at the Lubin Center.

The Bowdoin men earned an 8-1 victory and improve to 2-2 this season while the women fell 8-0 to Wesleyan and drop to 0-4.

Men's Match Highlights

• Bowdoin took wins at positions 2-9 to earn the win over the Cardinals.
• The Polar Bears earned 3-0 wins at seven of those eight positions, including from Satya Butler and Gannon Leach at the #2 and #3 spots.
• Carson Claar, Tyler Shonrock, Adham Sobhy, John Milligan, Drew Clark and Ishaan George accounted for the other wins for the Polar Bears.

Women's Match Highlights

• The Polar Bears couldn't find their stride against the Cardinals in the 8-0 setback.
• Clio Bersani dropped a 3-1 decision at the #1 position (11-3, 11-6, 9-11, 11-5)
• Melissa Horan also fell in a tight 3-1 loss at #3 (11-9, 11-6, 7-11, 11-9)
