WATERVILLE, Maine – Both the men's and women's swimming and diving teams collected commanding wins at Colby in Saturday's dual meet.

Women's Meet

• The women won every event on Saturday afternoon en route to a 204-64 win.
• Sophomore Marshall Lowery swept the backstroke events with a 58.80 in the 100 and a 2:06.74 in the 200. She was followed by first-year Cecilia Dehavenon (1:02.86) in the 100.
• Claire Wolff (1:10.82), Kayla Snyder (1:11.44), and Caitlin Loi (1:13.21) swept the 100 breaststroke. Snyder was second in the 200 (2:34.51) behind senior Mariah Rawding (2:32.14).
• First-year Ellie Wargo touched in 1:00.70 to win the 100 butterfly and in 2:01.91 to win the 200 freestyle. 
• Sophomore Amanda Banasiak clocked a 24.95 for the 50 freestyle victory. 
• In the 1000 Nadia Eguchi posted a 10:56.99 ahead of teammate Caroline Watt in 11:03.40. Watt won the 500 freestyle with a 5:21.24 just ahead of Linnea Patterson with a 5:26.05. Patterson's 2:13.64 topped the 200 IM. She was followed by Claire Wolff (2:15.77) and Ally Fromson-Ho (2:18.09).
• Fromson-Ho (2:13.36) and Jules Kiley (2:17.41) took the top two spots in the 200 butterfly. 
• Becca Stern (390.70) and Thea Kelsey (359.45) were first and second in one meter diving. Stern also topped the three meter diving event with 421.49 points. Kelsey was second with 413.99 points and Waverly Harden (313.79) was fourth. 
• Mary Laurita (55.50) and Rawding (55.60) were first and second in the 100 free. 
• Bowdoin finished first and second in the 800 freestyle relay. Wargo, Laurita, Eguchi, and Patterson swam an 8:03.09 to win the event. The B team of Watt, Wolff, Dehavenon, and Lowery were second in 8:08.44.

Men's Meet

• The men took home the victory with a 197-79 advantage.
• First-year Michael Tirone won the 100 breaststroke in 59.64 and took the 200 victory with a 2:12.55. Senior Michael Netto was second in the 200 in 2:19.71 and Alex Burns finished third (2:21.32).
• Julian Abaldo (52.87), Logan House (53.44), and Jacob Baltaytis (53.44) took the top three spots in the 100 butterfly. House won the 50 freestyle with a 22.31.
• Karl Sarier used a strong last 200 yards to overtake teammate Andrew Macdonald to win the 1000 freestyle. The duo finished in 10:10.06 and 10:10.85, respectively. Sarier powered home again in the 200 IM, edging classmate Stephen Pastoriza 1:59.79 to 2:00.54.
• Geoff Chen won the 200 freestyle with a 1:45.87.
• The Polar Bears took the top four spots in the 200 butterfly. Jean Baptiste-Andre touched in 1:58.98, followed by Macdonald (2:00.47), Baltaytis (2:01.24), and Jack Barry (2:02.16).
• Will Hutchinson won the 100 freestyle with a 48.05 followed by Abaldo (48.69) and House (50.17). Hutchinson was also second in the 100 backstroke with a 54.34.
• Mitchell Ryan won one meter diving with 461.60 points. With 270.00 points, Irfan Dotani was third. Ryan also won three meter with a score of 490.65 points while 220.20 points put Dotani third. 
• Killian Dickson was runner-up in the 200 backstroke with his 1:57.05. Daniel Williams won the 500 freestyle in 4:50.65.
• Chen, Barry, Sarier, and Macdonald combined to win the 800 freestyle relay in 7:11.50.

• Both teams are off until the NESCAC Championship. The women travel to Williams from February 16-18, while the men host the following weekend.
