Men's Squash Reaches NESCAC Quarterfinals WIth Win Over Tufts

CLINTON, N.Y. - The Bowdoin College men's squash team defeated Tufts in the opening round before falling to Trinity in the quarterfinals of the 2018 NESCAC Championship at Hamilton College.

The Polar Bears (4-10) defeated the Jumbos 6-3 before falling to the top-ranked Bantams 9-0.

Match Highlights

  • Bowdoin got wins at the top three spots in the ladder as Ian Squiers and Satya Butler both claimed a hard-fought 3-2 victory at one and two, respectively.
  • George Cooley took a 3-0 sweep at #3 for Bowdoin and a 3-1 win from Cal Fullerton at #8 helped the Polar Bear cause.
  • A pair of 3-2 victories at spots six and seven from Uday Khanna and Drew Clark proved to be the difference.
