Men's Squash Edges Wesleyan In CSA Nationals Opener

BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College men's squash team survived a scare from Wesleyan in the opening round of the College Squash Association Team National Tournament on Friday afternoon before claiming a 5-4 victory.

The Polar Bears, who are seeded second in the bracket, advance to the semifinals on Saturday against Haverford.

Match Highlights

  • Bowdoin earned a pair of 3-0 wins against the Cardinals, including victories from George Cooley at #2 and Drew Clark at #6.
  • Gannon Leech and Uday Khanna took 3-1 wins at spots #4 and #5, respectively, to help the Polar Bears to the win.
  • In what proved to be the difference-making match, Arjun Dravid took a key 3-2 win (11-9, 11-6, 9-11, 10-12, 11-8) at #8 to put Bowdoin over the top.
