Box Score MEDFORD, Mass. – The Bowdoin men's ice hockey team suffered a 6-1 NESCAC setback to Tufts on Friday evening.
The Polar Bears (3-4-1, 1-2-1 NESCAC) fell behind early and were unable to climb out of the hole. Tufts (4-4-0, 2-3-0 NESCAC) recorded a pair of power play goals and a short-handed tally.
Game Highlights
- The Jumbos broke through with an early power play 3:15 into the game. Five minutes later they added a second goal.
- Bowdoin cut the lead in half as Sam Topham scored with assists from Albert Washco and Cody Todesco at 11:12.
- Tufts quickly stole the momentum with a rebuttal goal 12 seconds later.
- Clay Berger scored a late short-handed goal in the second period, the only points of the frame.
- Cal LeClair scored a pair of goals in the third to ice the game.
