Men's Squash Jumps Back Into Action With Busy Weekend at Lubin Center

BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College men's squash team suffered three losses to nationally-ranked opponents in their first action of 2018 last weekend at the Lubin Center.

The Polar Bears (1-7), ranked 27th in the latest CSA poll, dropped to #3 St. Lawrence 9-0, #19 Middlebury 7-2 and #21 Williams 9-0.

Weekend Highlights

  • George Cooley (3-0 at #3) and Drew Clark (3-1 at #7) accounted for Bowdoin's two individual wins of the weekend in the match against Middlebury.
  • Tyler Shonrock and Arjun Dravid took close 3-1 setbacks against the Panthers
  • Against Williams, the Polar Bears lost a pair of five-setters at #1 from Ian Squiers and Clark at #7 in hard-fought matches.
