AMHERST, Mass. - The Bowdoin College men's squash team swept positions 3-8 en route to a 7-2  win over Hamilton in the opening round of the NESCAC Tournament on Friday evening at Amherst College.

The Polar Bears (4-10) advance to the quarterfinals of the championship for the 11th consecutive year and improve to 4-0 all-time against Hamilton in NESCAC Tournament play.

Match Highlights

• Bowdoin got 3-0 wins from Ben Bristol, Sebastian Gilligan-Kim and Drew Clark to get off to a good start against the Continentals.
• James Paolella, George Cooley and Tyler Shonrock carded 3-1 wins to  put the Polar Bears over the top.
• Ian Squiers capped off the Bowdoin victors with a 3-2 comeback win (5-11, 11-8, 11-13, 11-9, 13-11)
