BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College men's squash team got a clinching victory from Ben Bristol to earn their first victory of the season on Wednesday afternoon over Wesleyan, 5-4. 

The 24^th-ranked Polar Bears improve to 1-5 while the 19^th-ranked Cardinals fall to 2-3 on the year.

• Bowdoin won at positions 3-7 to seal their first victory of the season.
• George Cooley and Drew Clark both collected 3-0 wins while Tyler Shonrock captured a 3-1 victory for the Polar Bears
• Ian Squiers put Bowdoin on the cusp of victory with a 3-2 (10-12,11-8,11-3,7-11,11-6) win at #3
• Bristol sealed the Bowdoin win at #4, earning a 3-2 triumph (11-7,5-11,10-12,11-9,11-6) to put the Polar Bears over the top.
