WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - The Bowdoin College men's squash team suffered a pair of losses at the NESCAC Championship on Saturday at Williams.
The Polar Bears fell to top-seeded Trinity 9-0 in the quarterfinals before falling to Colby 5-4 in a consolation match. Bowdoin will play Amherst in the seventh-place match on Sunday at 11:30 a.m.
Bowdoin fell to Trinity 9-0, dropping 3-0 matches to the Bantams in all positions. The Polar Bears rebounded in the afternoon to almost knock off rival Colby. The team got wins from Christian Dorff at #2 (3-0), Alex Reisley at #6 (3-0), Cyrus Nassikas at #7 and George Cooley at #8 (3-0). Bowdoin couldn't find a fifth point, however, and dropped the decision to the Mules.
