WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - The Bowdoin College men's squash team claimed a 8-1 win over Hamilton in the first round of the NESCAC Tournament on Friday evening at Williams College.

The Polar Bears advance to the quarterfinals tomorrow where they will battle top-seeded Trinity at noon Saturday.

Bowdoin won a pair of close matches at #2 and #3 courtesy of Christian Dorff (3-2) and Maxwell Bearse (3-2) while Matthew Cooper (3-0) cruised at #1 and Andrew Ward took a shutout win (3-0) at #4. Alex Reisley (3-0), Cyrus Nassikas (3-2), George Cooley (3-0) and Michael DeFranco (3-1) accounted for the other Bowdoin points on Friday.
