Women's Basketball Jumps to Early Lead, Coasts Past Salve Regina

NEWPORT, R.I. - The Bowdoin College women's basketball found its way back to the win column in a convincing 65-39 win at Salve Regina on Saturday afternoon.

The Polar Bears improve to 2-2 this season while the Seahawks fall to 1-5. Bowdoin moves to 8-0 all-time against Salve Regina

  • The Polar Bears had 13 different players score as they never trailed, jumping out to a 13-0 lead after just three minutes
  • Bowdoin led 21-7 after one quarter and 36-17 at halftime
